The role of the Coaching Advisory Committee is to:
Provide an avenue for communication and a forum to generate and share ideas between the SSC, NSAs and coach educators.
Spearhead the cause of coaching development by playing an advocacy and promotional role for coach development initiatives.
Form working groups with external resource persons to address specific areas on coaching. The committee members will chair these working groups.
Responsibility and Reporting
Feedback and reports arising from the meetings of the Coaching Advisory Committee are forwarded to the head of the SSC Sports Coaching Department that are used as appropriate in the formulation of policy and programmes.
