National Registry Of Coaches
| What is NROC? |

The National Registry of Coaches (NROC) is a database of coaches who have been fully certified under the National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) and have met other supplementary requirements to qualify as a member. Through the database, SSC aims to give recognition to coaches who have been duly certified and deemed competent by a national body. At the same time, the public can access a database of qualified coaches.
With the NROC, coaches who wish to remain active will have to undergo Continuing Coach Education (CCE) activities. This is our quality assurance to employers of NROC coaches that our registered coaches are up-to-date in their coaching knowledge and skills.

| Why NROC? |

Both coaches and employers of coaches (such as NSAs, schools and clubs) benefit from the NROC. With the NROC, coaches will enjoy the status of being registered with a national sports body, and obtain recognition from having met the minimum coach education standards. These coaches will also receive updates and enjoy special privileges on the latest Continuing Coach Education (CCE) activities, so that they can continually upgrade their coaching skills and knowledge.
Employers of NROC coaches, in turn, will have access to a database of qualified and professional coaches that are nationally recognised through a centralised database.
