Course Objectives
Strength training is popular among athletes for the enhancement of sporting performance as well as the prevention of injuries. However, many athletes adopt exercises and training programs based on fitness or bodybuilding methodologies which may not be relevant to the sport they play.

For strength training to be effective, it has to be sport-specific and prescribed according to the demands of a particular sport.

Course Outline
This workshop will showcase some essential exercises which should be included in all Strength and Conditioning training programs for athletes.
