The Singapore Government announced today that it will be developing the motor sports industry in Singapore by working with the private sector to build a permanent race track located in Changi (eastern part of Singapore) and developing a comprehensive motor sports industry development plan.
A Request for Proposals from the private sector to build permanent race track in Changi will be called in May 2008 and the Singapore Sports Council will head a cross government agency working group to develop a comprehensive motor sports development plan for sports and economic development.

The Singapore Government announced the successful close of the Final Clarification Stage (FCS) for the Singapore Sports Hub Invitation to Tender (ITT) today at 4 pm.
The competition received 1008 entries and each photograph had its own story of the stadium. Uniquely captured, it took few rounds of qualifying and judging to finally decide 32 photographs as winners.
