 |
Formed in 1996 by the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), the SNOC Anti-Doping in Sports Commission is Singapore's National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) that are responsible for testing national athletes in- and out-of-competition, as well as athletes from other countries competing within the nation's borders; adjudicating anti-doping rules violations; and anti-doping education.
Together with the the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) Sports Medicine & Sports Science (SMSS) division, the SNOC Anti-Doping in Sports Commission strives to complement the World Anti Doping Agency's (WADA) efforts of achieving complete drug-free sport and promoting the values of "friendship, solidarity, and fair play".
To reach this end, combined efforts of all people in the sports fraternity will be essential. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring clean sport and is responsibile in the fight against doping in sport.
It is our wish that the materials found in these pages will enable more understanding towards anti-doping in sports and to help achieve clean sport and upholding the spirit of sport.
Together, let us work towards drug-free sport for all!
