Courses and Workshops
Take part in our line-up of exciting course and workshops, there's something for everyone.

Sports Industry Development Programmes
SID is to identify the sports knowledge gaps for key stakeholders and to bridge the gaps through facilitating targeted training and developmental programmes.

Learn-To-Play
SSC delivers affordable, accessible sports and fitness classes to suit a wide range of interest groups. Courses are taught by certified instructors at SSC Sports & Recreation Centres island-wide and are tailored for different age groups.

For more information on Learn-To-Play courses, visit our website at www.SingaporeSports.sg/Playground or contact your nearest SSC Sports & Recreation Centre
Coaching Programmes
To ensure that Singapore has an ever-expanding supply of professional coaches, Coaching and Technical Development Division has introduced several training programmes and courses for existing coaches and athletes interested in becoming coaches.
SwimSafer Programme
The SwimSafer Programme is an initiative of the NationalWater Safety Council (NWSC) to replace the Learn-To-Swim Programme (LTSP) and the National Survival Swimming Award (NASSA) as the National Water Safety Programme.
It is a progressive six-stage programme structure that incorporates the essential elements of swimming, water survival and life saving skills to train students to react appropriately when faced with sudden and adverse aquatic situations.
FUN Start MOVE Smart! Introductory Training Workshop
SSC conducts the FUN Start MOVE Smart! introductory training workshops targeted at early childhood educators to introduce and enhance the teaching of fundamental movement skills to children aged two to 10 years old. We hope to help Singapore children achieve physical literacy and prepare them for an active and enriching lifestyle in adulthood.
