Sports Industry Development (SID) Department
Sports Industry Development (SID) Department acts as a catalyst in intensifying sports knowledge, supporting our mission for seeding and growing a self-sustaining sports industry.

The objective of SID is to identify the sports knowledge gaps for key stakeholders and to bridge the gaps through facilitating targeted training and developmental programmes.

Towards this end, Sports Industry Development facilitates on the following strategic intents:

  • Enhancing sports industry personnel profile through developing the manpower skill sets of the sports professionals.
  • Nurturing partnerships between local and international educational institutions in offering sports related programs and applied sports research in Singapore, and in the region.
  • Facilitation of talks and courses in both Sports Medicine & Sports Science, and Exercise & Fitness.

Our key stakeholders range from NSAs personnel, athletes, sports science professionals, sports coaches, fitness specialists, exercises specialists, sports and wellness diplomats, sports trainers, PE teachers, to general public who has interest in the area of sports.
