National Physical Fitness Assessment (NAPFA) Tester Course
The National Physical Fitness Assessment (NAPFA) Tester Course is a basic course designed to equip MOE Teachers with the essential knowledge and skills involved in the school NAPFA Challenge. Participants will learn the fundamentals of health and performance related components of fitness and its relation with the six test batteries of the NAPFA scheme through theoretical and practical sessions. Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a NAPFA Tester Certificate
Course Outline
  1. Introduction to Health & Fitness
  2. Physical Fitness Components
  3. The Objectives of NAPFA
  4. 6 Test Items of NAPFA Challenge
  5. Basic Anatomy and Stretching

Total Duration: 4 hours consisting of both theory and practical
SSC Certification Examination
2A) Examination Format

Duration of Theory Exam - 1 hour

Section A: True or False (15 Marks)
Section B: Multiple Choice (35 Marks)

Total : 50 marks

Candidate has to score a minimum 35 marks ( 70%) to obtain a pass for the Examination.


2B) Examination Registration
Registration closes on 23rd March 2012 for April 2012 examination.

Candidates may register for the certification examination by completing the Application for Certification Examination form issued

2C) Candidate Eligibility

This course is open to candidates from all schools and tertiary institutions, including staff, teachers and students.
