If Singapore is to develop a true sporting culture - one that grows with us into the next generation - we must support our vision with solid work from the ground up.

It is easier for people to adopt a sporting lifestyle if they are given greater access to sports facilities. SSC already has a wide range of sports facilities conveniently located for easy access island-wide. Presently, we operate 25 swimming complexes, 15 stadiums with track and field, 2 stadiums with field only, 17 sports halls for badminton, basketball & netball, 10 tennis centres, 4 squash centres, 2 netball centres, 3 hockey fields, 5 fields for soccer & other team sports, 85 school fields and 16 gyms.

Annually, SSC records more than 11 million users at its Sports and Recreational Centres. With more than $60 million invested over the past 10 years on renovation and upgrading of facilities, visitors to SSC facilities can be guaranteed of a safe and enjoyable experience. In recent years, we have integrated state-of-the-art fitness equipment into our gyms and interactive water play features into our swimming complexes. We have also brought children day-care centres to Choa Chu Kang and Jurong East SRCs.

People can book our facilities online. Through our partnership with the Ministry of Education, more people in Singapore can now book school fields and sport halls after regular school hours.

At our ClubFITT gyms, we offer different membership packages, including a corporate membership to encourage companies to offer gym memberships to their staff as incentives.

Well-designed and efficiently run sports facilities can significantly open up opportunities for sporting and recreational activities for all Singaporeans. SSC will continue to strive for better facilities to serve the people in the community.

Come see how you can too with the SSC.
