Booking Stadiums for School and Junior College Sports Meets

Bookings of SSC stadiums for school and junior college track-and-field meets are subjected to balloting.

In the first week of September, forms will be sent to all schools and junior colleges inviting them to book our stadiums for sports meets planned for the following year. The completed forms must reach the Central Booking Office by the fourth week of September.

The ballot will be conducted in the first week of October, and the results will be mailed to successful applicants the following week.

During the third week of October, unallocated slots will be released for bookings to schools and junior colleges that were unsuccessful during the balloting exercise, or for additional bookings, on a first-come-first-served-basis.

Successful applicants must pay their booking fees to the Central Booking Office by the second week of November, failing which allocated slots will be cancelled. For more details, call the Central Booking Office at 6345 1222.

Internet Booking

Through iBook online at http://www.ibook.ssc.gov.sg, you can make enquiries and book selected SSC facilities from the comfort of your own home or the office, any time of the day.

You can also pay for your telephone bookings on-line.

Hirers are given at least 30 minutes to complete any payment transaction in iBook from the moment they click to confirm a slot. The status for this is "Pending for Payment".

For slots booked for the last day of the booking window, you are given up to 12.00 pm on the day after you made the booking to pay.

SSC reconciles its account daily and will refund any additional deduction recorded in the system. Customers can report any case to Ms Maliga at Tel Nos: 6500 5404 during office hours for her investigation.

You can also use iBook's My Preferences function to save your favourite slots on-line. It's a great time-saver. Your available favourite slots will automatically show when you next login.

Soccer Balloting and Booking

Only soccer hirers whose particulars have been verified by SSC and have internet access are eligible to book soccer slots and/or participate in the balloting. For verification, hirers must go personally to any SSC booking office with their original NRIC/Passport. Foreigners must also produce their original employment pass/work permit in addition to the Passport.

Hirers under the age of 15 years and foreigners who are not issued with FIN number will not be eligible for soccer balloting even after their particulars have been verified.

Soccer bookings are allocated by computerised balloting held at 1pm on the first Wednesday of each month for the booking of slots in the following month. For eg, balloting on the first Wednesday of this month will decide and allocate slots for hire in the following month.

Before booking, you are encouraged to check that your desired time does not coincide with field maintenance closures.

1) How to submit your ballot request

You can submit your soccer ballot request on-line through iBook. The deadline of online submission is the 28th of each month.

Besides this, you can also submit through our booking offices. To do this, get the ballot request form from any of our booking offices. Indicate your choice of soccer pitch, date and time of booking. The following conditions apply:

Each applicant is allowed to submit only ONE request form for each ballot; any applicant found submitting multiple forms will be disqualified.

Each applicant is allowed to indicate a maximum of four choices in the form.

A maximum of two slots per month will be allocated to the successful applicant.

The request form must reach any of our booking offices between the first and twenty-third of each month to qualify for balloting that will be held on the first Wednesday of the following month for allocation of slots in the subsequent month.

2) Finding out the ballot result

Results of the Soccer Ballot will be posted on the link "Soccer Ballot Status" in iBook online.

The ballot result is also available at our various booking offices from 1pm on the same day of the balloting exercise.

3) Paying for your slot

Successful applicants should settle payment of all allocated slots by 6.59 am on the seventh day after the date of the ballot. For example, for a ballot on 7th March 2007, payment must be made by 6:59AM on 14th March 2007. Otherwise the slot will be released.

Payment must be made at any of our booking offices during operating hours.

Successful applicants are required to produce their identity cards or passport for verification of their particulars at the booking counter before payment can be accepted.

SSC reserves the right to cancel or reject any bookings/payment if the applicant does not comply with any of the booking rules and regulations.
