How do I register? First, you need to go to its website at http:www.ibook.ssc.gov.sg. Next click on the link "Surf iBook". After this, please click on the link "Register". Here, enter your name, NRIC/passport number, email address and your password (twice). Finally, click on submit for immediate activation of password.
How do I login to iBook? First, you need to register and activate your password. With the password, click on the link "Registered User's Login". Here, enter your NRIC/Passport No, password and verification code and click on submit.
Why can't I login to iBook? You cannot login if your password is invalid. The system will render a password invalid if an incorrect password is entered into the system 3 consecutive times.
How do I change my invalid password? You can change your deactivated password in iBook. To do this, please click on the link "Registered User's Login" in iBook's homepage. Next, click on the link "Forgot Password?". Here, enter your NRIC/passport number and date of birth and click to submit. On the next page, you will be required to enter your new password twice. Please note that passwords are case sensitive and should be made up of a minimum of 8 characters. Finally, click to submit your request for immediate activation. We will also send you a separate confirmation via email.
Why did I not receive the email confirming my password change after I have changed my password? The reason for the email failing to reach you is that you have entered an invalid e-mail address in the system. In such a situation, use your new password to login and change your email address under the link "Change Personal Details".
How do I change my password that is still valid? If you wish to change your current password, please go to the link "Change Password" after login. Enter your current password once and the new password twice. Please note that passwords are case sensitive and should be made up of a minimum of 8 characters. Next, submit your request to effect it immediately.
I try to change password but the system do not recognize my date of birth? You encounter this issue because you have not previously register your date of birth in the system. To resolve this matter, you will need to go down personally with your NRIC to any SSC booking office to request for a chnage. Alternately, you can also e-mail your request to maliga_thangevelu@ssc.gov.sg. Please include your name, NRIC Nos, date of birth, contact telephone number and home address as registered in the system.
Why should I update my personal information in iBook regularly? You will need to update your personal particulars in iBook to facilitate the refund of any money due to you arising from cancelled slots.
How long will it take to fill in iBook online personal details form? iBook Online's Personal Details Form will take you about 5 minutes to fill in. You will need the following information to fill in the form: FIN Number (if foreigner), Date of Birth, Address & Postal Code, Pager/Handphone Nos, Telephone (O) Nos, Telephone (R) Nos.
How do I use My Preferences function in iBook? After you have login, please click on the link "Enter/Change My Preferences". Next, enter information on your favourite sporting activity, venue, day and time. The maximum number of choices is 4.· Tick on the box for Login Using "My Preferences". Finally, click on submit to register your preferences. When you next login to iBook, you will noticed that the system had performed an auto-query for all your favourite slots thus saving you precious time. All available slots will be displayed for your selection and confirmation.
How to check if I am successful in soccer ballot? All soccer hirers should check under the link "Soccer Ballot Status" in iBook to see if they have been successful in the ballot after 1pm on the Ist Wed of the month.
Why can't I see anything while trying to query for booking or to change My Preferences? Your browser do not show any image because it lacked the required Java plugin to run Java applications. To resolve this, please go to the link http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html to download and J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE that would allows your browser to run Java applications.
Can we open multiple browsers to book? You are advised not to open multiple browsers when booking through iBook as it will cause technical errors.
Why is the status of my Internet booking "Pending for Payment"? The status is activated the moment you click on the "Submit" button after selection in the system. Then the system will wait for you to pay. In most cases, the time given is 30 minutes. Once the transaction is paid, the booking status will change to that of "Confirm". If you do not pay for the slot, it will be released after 30 minutes and released for re-booking.
However, for slots booked for the last day of the BAW, all bookings that you have click to "Submit" after selection will be held for you up to 12pm the day after. The slots will be released at 12pm the next day if no payment was made.
What are the accepted payment mode? We accept VISA Credit Card, MasterCard Credit Card, MasterCard Debit Card or Visa Electron Debit Card for making payment on-line on iBook.
What must I do to prevent duplicate payments? To stop duplicate payments, do not click to pay more than once or use Back/Forward/Refresh/Reload button on browser during payment.
What should I do if I wish to use the eNETs Credit Card payment system in iBook online? You must effect the following changes in your browser:
- Pop-up blockers should be disabled.
- Cookies from "psi.gov.sg" must be enabled in your browser settings. To enable cookies, first set browser as follows if you are using Internet Explorer (Ver 6 & above):
SelectTools-> Select Internet Options-> Select Privacy tab-> Click Edit/Settings button-> Enter psi.gov.sg (Address of Web site to allow)-> Click Allow/Add-> Click OK/Close
How do I pay on-line using credit cards? To pay, click on the link "Pay by Credit Card" after you have selected your slots. Next, click on the eNets logo. After this, enter the name on credit card, credit card number, card's expiry date and card's vcc number. Next, wait for SSC's receipt to show on screen and print SSC's Receipt.
Please note that the eNETS credit card acknowledgement that is flashed on screen is NOT the receipt. If you stop transaction before SSC receipt is shown, your booking may be cancelled.
Is paying credit card online safe? Yes, our site's credit card payment is safe for use.
Why is the page blank after I click on "Pay by Credit Card"? This means that a pop-up blocker is preventing a pop-up to be shown. Please disable all pop-up blockers in your browser during the payment session.
Can I press the "BACK" button during payment to view other pages? Do not press on "BACK" button of your browser after you have click on "Pay by Credit Card" button as this will result in transaction failure.
Why did my credit card payment not go through even after I have entered the relevant details? Do not enter spaces or blanks when filling in your credit card number as this will invalidate your submission.
I have money deducted but the slot was not confirmed. How do I get a refund? To request for a refund, please email your name as in the NRIC, NRIC/passport number, contact telephone number, date of payment, transaction number and amount claimed to Maliga_THANGAVELU@ssc.gov.sg.
I have made payment but would like to cancel or change my slot? We regert to inform you that no cancellation, change of booking or refund will be allowed once payment has been made.
How to go about to re-print a copy of the receipt? First, call in advance and make a request to the booking office where you intend to collect the receipt. Next, arrange with the duty oficer for a collection date. Then, on the appointed date, go down personally with your NRIC to that booking office and submit the completed the "Reprint of Receipt Form" to the Customer Service Officer before collection. During collection, show your NRIC to the Customer Service Officer for verification purposes. We do not accept proxy request. This procedure is to protect our customer's interest and maintain the confidentiality of the information in the system.
How do I print the receipt without using too much ink? You need to unselect the print background colors and images option under the Advanced folder of the Internet Tools menu in your browser for a printer friendly version.
