Gong Shang Primary School Sports Hall
Gong Shang Primary School sports hall will be available for week night booking starting from 28 May 13. Members of the public can start booking in the ICanbook from 28 May for games from 11 Jun 13 onwards. The operation hours are as follow:
Mon to Fri : 7pm to 10pm
Sat: 3pm to 10pm
Sun: 9am to 10pm.
Kallang Lawn Bowl Green
The Kallang Lawn Bowl Green at 52 Stadium Road S(397724) will be available for booking with effect from 1 May 2013. Hirers may book up to 14 days in advance subject to availability. The booking rates (per lane per hour) is $3.50 and $9.50 for non-peak and peak hours respectively.
Daily booking at 3 School Halls
The following 3 school halls will be opened for use daily from 18 Mar 2013 for slots from 1 Apr 2013 onwards during the stated periods below:
a) East View Secondary School Hall: 7.00pm to 10.00pm (Mondays to Fridays), 3.00pm to 10.00pm (Saturdays) & 9.00am to 10.00pm (Sundays)
b) Junyuan Primary School School Hall: 7.00pm to 10.00pm (Mondays to Fridays), 3.00pm to 10.00pm (Saturdays) & 9.00am to 10.00pm (Sundays)
c) Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School School Hall: 7.00pm to 10.00pm (Mondays to Fridays), 3.00pm to 10.00pm (Saturdays) & 9.00am to 10.00pm (Sundays)
Extended hours at Bedok View Secondary School Field
Bedok View Secondary School Field will commence an additional slot to be booked between 7am and 9am on Sundays from 6 April 2013 onwards.
Free to Play Spaces
SSC has embarked on a series of initiatives to provide the community with free sporting spaces, known as FTP spaces, at our facilities. These spaces include fields, table tennis tables, Futsal and Pétanque courts. Most of the FTP spaces have been made available for community play since the beginning of this financial year. On 1 December, we opened up four fields at selected SSC stadiums for the public to engage in recreational activities for free whenever they are not booked.
Senior citizens, who are 55 years old and above, can also play badminton or table tennis at our sports halls for free whenever they are not booked during non peak hours (i.e. before 6pm).
In order to play, guests can enquire on the availability of the FTP spaces and subsequently make a booking over the counter on the day itself.

Opening of New and Reopening of Existing Indoor School Halls

Pasir Ris 5-A-Side Soccer Centre
Booking of the Soccer Centre is currently done through a balloting system, similar to the booking system for soccer fields. However, 30 Nov 11, will be the last date that booking will be done through the ballot. With effect from 17 Nov 11, members of the public can make bookings via the various reservation channels (E.g. Counter or On-line) up to 2 weeks in advance. To facilitate this change, Pasir Ris 5-A-Side Soccer Centre will not be available for booking on Thursday, 17 Nov 11, from 11.30am to 1pm.
The booking procedure is as follows:
a) Booking Availability Window (BAW)
The booking opens daily at 1pm for slots up to 14 days in advance.
b) Booking Quota
One person is entitled to book a maximum of 1 slot on the last day of the Booking Availability Window.
c) Activity
The activity is known as Soccer 5-A-Side (Hard Court) [previously known as Soccer].
d) Payment Channel
You can book and make payment at any SSC booking office, kiosk or on-line at www.icanbook.com.sg.
e) Cancellation & Refund by Singapore Sports Council (SSC)
When a Soccer 5-A-Side (Hard Court) game has been cancelled by the SSC due to unforeseen circumstances, the hirer of the cancelled booking(s) will get a refund of the hiring fee. The refund will be paid by cheque through the post. There shall be no replacement for soccer bookings cancelled by the SSC.
Official Opening of Pasir Ris Sports and Recreation Centre
In celebration of the Official Opening of Pasir Ris Sports and Recreation Centre (SRC) on Sunday, 6 November 2011, all guests will enjoy free admission to Pasir Ris ClubFITT Gymnasium and Pasir Ris Swimming Complex on that day during normal operating hours.
To facilitate the organisation of the event, the following sports facilities at Pasir Ris SRC will not be available for public booking/use at the following dates and times:
Pasir Ris Sports Hall
Saturday, 5 November 2011 (Whole Day)
Sunday, 6 November 2011 (Whole Day)
Competition Pool at Pasir Ris Swimming Complex

Pasir Ris 5-A-Side Soccer Centre will open for the booking of Soccer from 1 pm on Thursday, 15 Sep 11. It is located at 120 Pasir Ris Central Singapore 519640 and will operate from 7am to 9pm. One court will be available for booking at a fee of $23.20 per 2 hour slot.
Pasir Ris Sports & Recreation Centre
Pasir Ris Sports & Recreation Centre, located at 120 Pasir Ris Central Singapore 519640, was opened for public's use from 18 Jul 11. The sports facilities opening on this date are the Swimming Complex, Sports Hall, Tennis Courts and Gym. The operations hours of the sports facilities are as follows:
Pasir Ris Swimming Complex : 8.00am - 9.30pm (Thursday to Tuesday & Public Holidays), Closed on Wednesdays.
Pasir Ris Sports Hall (8 badminton courts) : 7.00 am - 10.00 pm Daily
Pasir Ris Tennis Centre (2 tennis courts) : 7.00 am - 10.00 pm Daily
Pasir Ris ClubFITT Gym : 7.00 am -10.00 pm (Mon/Wed/Fri), 8.30 am -10.00 pm (Tue/Thu), 8.30 am to 8.00 pm (Sat), 9.00 am - 8.00 pm (Sun), 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (Public holidays)
The booking for badminton and tennis will open in ICanBook from 4pm on 15 Jul 11.
Soccer Booking for Hai Sing Catholic School Field
Soccer booking for Hai Sing Catholic School Field was opened from 1pm on 27 Jun 11 for slots from 2 Jul 11 onwards.
Soccer Booking for Evergreen, Northbrooks & Junyan Secondary School Fields
With effect from 7 Apr 11, Evergreen, Northbrooks & Junyuan Secondary School Fields were opened for soccer booking by ballot.
Booking of Indoor School Halls for Fridays (7pm to 9pm)
The Singapore Sports Council shall trial open selected schools for hirers to book and uses their facilities for Friday Nights from 7pm to 9pm. The trial shall be for a period of 6 months starting from 1st April 2011 to 30th September 2011. The selected schools for the trial are:
- Hua Yi Secondary School (West)
- JunYuan Primary School (East)
- Yio Chu Kang Secondary School (North)
- Queensway Secondary School (start from 15th April 2011)
- Endeavour Primary School (start from 15th April 2011)
The facilities are now open for hirers to make their booking.
Opening of Free to Play Basketball Court
A Free to Play Basketball Court will be available for shared use at Chestnut Drive Secondary School from 1 Apr 11 onwards. Please check on details of School Halls for the Operation hours.
Bishan Sports Hall
Bishan Sports Hall opened table tennis tables 7, 8 and 9 for booking from 1pm on 7 Feb 11. You can reach these tables via the South-East Entrance located next to Bishan Sports Hall Booking Office.
Tampines Secondary School Field
Tampines Secondary School Field was opened for the booking of soccer from 12 pm on Wednesday, 26 Jan 11 for slots from 29 Jan 11 onwards.
New School Halls and School Fields
15 new school halls and 5 new school fields were opened for the booking of badminton and soccer respectively from 1 pm on Monday, 17 Jan 11 for slots from 22 Jan 11 onwards. The new facilities are as follows:
