|
SwimFIT 55+ is a membership scheme catering to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who are aged 55 years and above, who wish to swim regularly in Singapore Sports Council (SSC) swimming complexes.
Membership benefits
For $50 per annum, members can swim at any SSC conventional swimming pool except special features pools.
For $60 per annum, members can swim at all SSC swimming complexes.
How Do I Join?
Simply fill in the membership form obtainable at all SSC swimming complexes and attach one NRIC-sized photograph.
Bring along your NRIC or Passport and apply in person at any SSC swimming complex.
Remember to indicate the swimming complex from which you would like to collect your membership card.
Mode of Payment
Membership fee is to be paid upon application.
Payment can be made in cash or by crossed cheque made payable to the "Singapore Sports Council".
Where Can I get the Card? How Do I Collect It?
Approval of membership will take approximately 4 weeks from the date we receive your application. During this period, you may use the receipt as identification for entry into SSC swimming complexes.
You will be informed once your membership card is ready for collection. Please bring along your NRIC or Passport when you are collecting your membership card.
Terms and Conditions
SwimFIT 55+ membership scheme is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who are at least 55 years old.
The membership fee of $50.00 or $60.00 per annum is non-refundable and non-transferable.
SSC reserves the right to revise the fee without prior notice.
The membership is applicable only during operation hours and subject to availability of the complex.
Successful applicants will be issued with a membership card and it will serve as the identification for admission into SSC swimming complexes.
To gain admission into SSC swimming complexes, this card must be presented without demand to the SSC staff on duty.
An administrative charge of $5.35 (inclusive of 7% GST) per card will be levied for replacement of lost or stolen card.
This membership card is the property of SSC and shall be returned to the Council on request or when the holder ceases to be a member of SwimFIT 55+.
Renewal of membership is not automatic. Application for renewal must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the expiry date of the existing membership.
Members with access to conventional swimming complexes only but wish to upgrade their membership to that for all swimming complexes for the duration of his/her current membership period are allowed to do so with payment of $10.70 (inclusive of 7% GST).
The SSC reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member who, in its opinion, contravenes the terms and conditions of the scheme and/or SSC (Hiring of Sports Facilities) Regulations. The regulation is available for inspection at any SSC swimming complex.
